Gujrat: Modern Languages Learning Centre
(MLLC) of the University of Gujrat conducted a six day workshop on
“English Languages Teaching (ELT) from ‘Theory to Practice’ in
collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC). More than 30
teachers were registered and imparted modern techniques of teaching
English. Ms. MussaratAlvi administered the workshop.
The workshop was inaugurated by the Vice
Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin. Dr. Cusrow J Dubash,
ExcutiveVice Rector of FC College University Dr. AkfaImtiaz and Dr.
SarwatRasool of Fatima Jinnah University Rawalpindi were the resource
persons. They employed audio-visual aids in bringing home their
training message i.e. to improve the quality of teaching. The
participants were awarded certificates by Registrar UOG Mr. Muhammad
AkramBhatti.
