Challenges to Pakistan’s Foreign Policy in the scenario of Arab Uprising and US Presidential Election:Lecture by Syed Mowahid Hussain Shah

Gujrat: In Pakistan the dictatorship of the superrich is operative under the guise of democracy. Baba Fareed many hundred years ago said that “Traders cannot be rulers”. Pakistan is poor in presentation and representation at the international fora.

We need to reshape our foreign policy. The Arab revolution started from a small event of a conflict between a fruitseller and a policeman from Tunis. It has developed into a broad insurrection and engulfed many Muslims countries of Africa and Middle East. It is a resurgence of human dignity and will to freedom. These views were expressed by Mr. MuhaidHussain Shah senior analyst and Attorney at Law at USA, as Chief Guest of a seminar “Challenges to Pakistan’s Foreign Policy in the scenario of Arab uprising and US Presidential Election”The function was organized by (Centre for History, International Relations, and Political Science) and Pakistan Studies CHIPPS at University of Gujrat Hafiz Hayat Campus.
